Curious red brown snake imprint found in sidewalk
In front of Mr Struther's new High street house a flagstone bears a reddish brown snake-shaped mark about thirty inches long. The impression lies in the stone bed, with the head enlarged, and no remains visible, suggesting a paralyzed form in the surface. The writer notes the effect in evening light.
