Local Rider Injured In Trolley Accident Near Frewsburg
William Kribill of the South side was seriously hurt on the Warren James town trolley line when thrown from the front of the car. Conductor L E Conroy stopped the car and Kribill was taken to Russell for treatment for an electric shock. He was later cared for at home by Dr Peirce and expected to recover. A separate incident at the Struthers Wells plant saw F R Bradley struck on the head by a flying hammer, with Dr Russell treating a non dangerous wound.

Warren Council approves levee wall funding and bids
The Warren Borough pledges 2000 toward riprapping on Levee Street from Pine Street to the borough edge with West Warren Real Estate to cover the balance. The real estate firm may build or have the borough execute the work. The borough will construct 150 feet of trestle at Third Street bridge and fill to Connango Avenue, bids to be sought. The old telegraph office sells to Charles Schambers for 25, with removal in 15 days. A pump station valve sealing plan is recommended, with a borough seal and monthly Health Board checks if approved. An ordinance to vacate part of Liberty Street extension passes third reading.
