The Embroidered Gloves and the Bathwick Gala Tale
In Bathwick's Villa Gardens 1786 a gala drew Sir John Farquharson, Miss Clara Farquharson, and the flashy Mr Blannin. A bold brewer’s daughter Miss Fanny Ranne attracts Brannin with a glove gift bearing initials. A love triangle erupts into confrontation, a duel threat, and dramatic violence. The lovers wed after scandal and revenge, while Clara marries another, ending in a tale of pride and passion.
