Centerville Couple Killed in Tyronville Crossing Collision
Centerville residents Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Winton were killed when their wagon was struck by a rural special train en route from Oil City to Buffalo. The couple, aged and lifelong locals, left six children and were pronounced dead at the scene before their bodies were moved to Centerville.
