In a brief court session last Monday Dr. J. W. Jenkins was appointed auditor of Warren Boro replacing Alson Rogers who resigned. Thomas Barrett’s liquor license on Penn[a] avenue was transferred to Patrick Barrett. The Gladerun wire cutting case was argued by Hinckley & Rice for the electric road and J. Ross Thompson for the Penn[a] Railway. Injunctions granted last week brought temporary peace awaiting court decision.

The lower Conewango valley drainage canals near completion. Dollophs trench along Casadaga Creek will run 1300 feet with a $5,000 bridge under construction. The Oxbow canal, shorter but larger, aims to reduce floods and washouts when finished.
