Harold McCarthy of Silver Creek was shot and killed by Edwin Noonan near a lakeshore shanty used as a playhouse. Both boys about 14, Noonan believed the gun unloaded and fired when he pointed it at McCarthy in the doorway. Dr. J J Sharp arrived to find McCarthy dead. the body was sent to Main Street home.

Mary Fullam 81 Died in Salamanca After Long Illness
Mrs. Mary B. Fullam of Salamanca died at 14 Chestnut Street after a prolonged illness. Born in Troopsville, she was 81 and had lived in Salamanca over 35 years since moving from Fairport in 1878. She was widow of O. B. Fullam, first agent for local rail lines. Survived by two sons W. F. Fullam of Rochester and E. L. Fullam of Buffalo, plus three grandchildren. Burial planned at Penfield.
