Denver's Mountaintop View and Early Town Sketches 1873
The writer details Denver in 1873 from mountains to river, noting recent snows, moonlit streets, and pavement by nature. It recounts early Denver history with Larimer’s cabin, St Charles, and the 1859 charter, plus current growth: five railroads, a 20,000 population, numerous hotels, newspapers, and rapid construction. Local notices mention new houses, a dentist, a lunch room, the Carver House, and a forthcoming singing school.

Mr H S Thomas, formerly of Warren and then Corry, has sold his clothing store and departs for Cincinnati, with Warren residents wishing him well.
