Three Hurt In Local Auto Crash At Locust Street
An automobile collision on Locust street last Thursday near 8 pm sent three people to Warren Emergency Hospital in serious condition. Frank Smith contractor suffered internal injuries and a broken right arm, possibly a brain concussion. J C Peterson driver had a severe cut to the back of the head. his wife was uninjured. Peterson owned the New Warren Hotel and his car collided with a trolley, sending the machine and occupants fifty feet down a steep incline. The trolley motorman tried to stop but could not avoid impact.
