Bishop W X Ninde appointed president by the general conference last May. The president must always be a bishop. The cabinet comprises men known throughout Methodism and tied to the League since its founding.
The Epworth League board of control at its February meeting adopted a resolution expressing desire for closer fellowship with Christian youth groups. It authorizes the cabinet to pursue federation efforts or a young people's congress in 1900, and to make or receive advances as deemed advisable.
