Woman Beaten and Robbed in Norristown Case
Grace Walter, a white woman, was lured into the home of Sarah Chester, a Black woman, where she was struck with a stove plate fracturing the skull and dislodging her eye. Her wedding ring and money were stolen before Chester locked Walter inside. Walter was found 24 hours later in a dying condition. Chester was jailed pending outcome of Walter's injuries.
