In Oakmont and Warren Pennsylvania and nearby towns during February 1904 several deaths are announced. Emma Mary Armstrong aged 88, born in Coventry England, widow of Edmund Armstrong, survived by sons Harry W. and Alfred J. Dunham of Warren, plus extended families in North Clarendon and Sheffield. R M Dunham of Sheffield aged 53, survived by wife, three daughters, two sons, five sisters. Peter A. Hiden died of pneumonia in Warren, 1904. Samantha Plumer Bignall, wife of Rev W P Bignall, former pastor of Warren First M E Church, died in Franklin aged 77. Florence Andrews of Garland Pa buried in Garland. Troy W Phillips son of G S W Phillips died at 13 in Ellington N Y. Gottlieb Zimmerman of North Warren death ruled heart disease. Mae Scholton of Bear Lake Pa died aged 19. Hugh M Parshall of Tidioute Pa died heart disease at 61. Cord T Mix of Tidioute Pa aged about 60. Josiah Sweetland of Freehold Tp and Oliver J Parker near Tidionte Pa also noted.
The Rosouth Encampment No. 98 records the death of Brother Patriarch David Kirkpatrick. The committee notes his fraternal acts and sobriety, offers condolences to his wife and children, and resolves to drape the charter in mourning for thirty days and publish the notice in county papers.
