Leonhart died in Jamestown at 63 after long illness
In Jamestown New York on Tuesday morning June 22 1897 Philip Leonhart aged 63 years died after nearly three years of rheumatism and illness. A Warren resident since 1841 he had lived in Jamestown for five years. He leaves a second wife four daughters five sisters and two brothers. His remains were brought to Warren on Wednesday and the funeral is set for Thursday from Mrs. Geo Davis his daughter with burial in Oakland beside his first wife. Also dated June 21 1897 Jane Tubbs aged 71 widow of David Tubbs died on the Enterprise road near Titusville Pennsylvania.
