Judge Rasselas Brown of Warren Profiled for Convention Role

The Philadelphia Tree notes Judge Rasselas Brown of Warren County as Democratic delegate from the thirtieth district. It praises his patience, speeches limited to timely votes, long legal career, and service as President Judge in 1860. It contrasts party unity rhetoric with harsh critiques from New York World and Chicago Inter-Ocean. The piece presents a sting of partisan opinion on Democratic strength and farmers’ granges defense.
