The Skeleton of Jessie Durand and the Avenger Brother
A tale in which Tom Durand recalls his sister Jessie and her lover Roscoe Welles, with a sinister Professor Gregory. After Jessie dies and Gregory’s influence harms them, Tom seeks revenge, learns of grisly murder and dissecting plots, and ends in vow to bury Jessie’s skeleton in a desecrated grave while facing his own doom.
