Honest Edward and the ten dollar test
In a wartime era community Edward Jones, a 14 year old warehouse helper, finds a ten dollar bill and returns it to his employer Mr. Hubbard. Impressed, Hubbard raises Edward’s pay to two hundred dollars a year and entrusts him with more responsibilities, while Edward’s honesty relieves his sick sister Mary and mother.
