Pennsylvania suffragists plan June Chicago parade for presidential plank
About 40 000 suffragists from across the country will march in Chicago on June 7 to press delegates at the National Republican Convention to adopt a woman suffrage plank. Pennsylvania leaders say a unit vote from their delegation is logical, citing large support among male voters who know women seeking equal rights. The movement also plans active campaigns against the ubiquitous fly with 10 000 swatters and matches distributed at county fairs to promote suffrage.
