Warren library trustees plan to attach the opera house to the library, allowing one show every two weeks to cover expenses. They argue the move will bring traveling and home entertainments, reduce objectionable acts, and benefit the public library while maintaining quality performances.
L C Glenn of the U S Geological Survey arrived in Bradford with several assistants to perform a detailed survey of Olean area and parts of Pennsylvania. Afterward they will survey McKean and Warren counties focusing on oil ore and gas deposits, taking spirit levels and determining well elevations for government records. A fossil collection will be made.

Miss Jennie A Linburg 22 of Stoneham Pa died at Warren Emergency hospital July 11 1901. Eugene L Horner 58 of Lottsville Pa buried Jamestown N Y after death July 9 1901. Lena Walters 76 of Clarendon Pa died at her daughter Mrs Ralph Shearman’s home Irvineton burial held Irvineton yesterday.
A new novel by Charles Reginald Sherlock from Frederick A. Stokes Co. tells of Uncle Lew a Central New York railway restaurant owner and town gourmet. The tale includes the Cardiff Giant fraud, Uncle Lew’s New York trip and a surprising horse race victory by Crazy Jane.
A list of transfers including John A Anderson to Victor Johnson in Deerfield for 200 dollars and Warren G Horton to James Aharrah in Cherry Grove for 5000, with numerous deeds across Pine Grove, Pleasant, Sheffield, and other locales. Other buyers include William A Clark, Valvoline Oil Co, and Hazeltine Woolen Mills.

Pennsylvania Railroad offers special excursion tickets for Eagle Day at the Pan American Exposition on July 19 from Warren. Tickets are valid on any regular train July 19 and returnable within three days, at 2 dollars, not valid for passage in parlor or sleeping cars in either direction.
