Railroads and politics dominate Warren Mail selection

The Warren Mail reports on a New York railroad convention shaping a route from Olean or Little Valley toward Ohio. Pittsburgh papers call it a failure while Meadville papers praise it, noting a proposed Pittsburgh and Erie charter sold to the New York and Ohio company to build toward Erie and connect to Ohio and the New York and Erie line. This links into the six foot New York and St. Louis road plan amid legislative doubt. The piece also notes a Lake Shore Railroad injunction against the Franklin Canal Company and mentions subscription talk for Autocoony Valley Railway and various local notices and names.
