Dr Roswell Park a famed surgeon and cancer authority died suddenly at his Buffalo home from heart failure. Born in 1852 in Pomfret Conn he joined the University of Buffalo medical faculty in 1883 and led the surgery chair for 31 years. Clearfield Pa February 17 Judge Singleton Bell sentenced Jacob Huff found guilty of murder in the second degree for shooting his wife at Pen field last September to the Western Penitentiary for 17 to 19 years and 6 months.
