Outrage at Allen House Endangers Village Ladies
A brutal assault occurred at the Allen House in the village on a Wednesday night. A woman traveling from Olean to Franklin, Pa., was attacked after intruders posing as police lured her from safety, with a second assault at a store. The offenders were arrested and to be examined by Wm. H. Fenton. A Washington correspondent notes Fenton’s long career in lumber and commerce and calls him a valuable House member.
