Speer Seeks Re election for Pennsylvania Seat
The Hon. Peter M. Speer of Oil City announces his candidacy for re election in The Warren Mail subject to Republican primaries in April. The first term congressman has held prominent committee assignments and served the district well. Speer was born in Venango County December 2 1862 and has a long career in law and public service including district attorney solicitor and state legislator. His 1910 Sixty second Congress nomination followed by a vote win over W J Breene and John E Gill.
