The bank extends New Year wishes to the public and thanks customers for fourteen and a half years of growth. It notes steady yearly improvement, enhanced safety and convenience, and claims to have one of the best bank equipment in the state for all banking transactions.
A series of real estate transfers recorded across multiple towns including Warren Sugar Grove Mead and Sheffield. Transfers show buyer seller and amounts from 1 to 6000 dollars involving individuals and estates with names like Jacob Keller Leyina Oberg Emile Stott Elden Smith and others.

J H Purdy of American Water Works met Warren Council on December 18 to discuss building a $100,000 filtration plant at Gladerun and sourcing water from Morrison Run and the Allegheny River. The plan promises high fire protection pressure, a new feed line on Pennsylvania Avenue, duplicate pumps, and abandonment of island wells. Action awaited after a special committee report. bond ordinance defeated on third reading. no decision on the Water Company proposal.

The program for Farmers' Week at the Pennsylvania State College runs January 1 to 8, 1908, featuring 88 lectures and practical exercises on crop growing feeding breeding meat dressing cattle judging butter making ice cream poultry cooking forestry and horticulture.
