State pardons board holds final Harrisburg session
The state board of pardons met in Harrisburg for its last session under the present board. The new board will be sworn in January 20 and decisions won't be issued until next Tuesday night. Forty three pardon or commutation requests are on file and the first 29 were heard today with remaining cases set for next Tuesday. Three commutation petitions were argued including Isaiah Crosan of Fayette who is to be hanged January 7, and Rocco Tassone of Lancaster and Germia Itallico of Clearfield who face electrocution.
