Poor motherless Anna finds mercy and a home
A rural family takes in Anna Barrow, an eleven year old motherless girl, to ease domestic duties. Mrs Munday initially mistreats her in labor, but Mr Munday intervenes after witnessing Anna’s exhaustion and tears. The couple ultimately keep Anna, treating her kindly and ensuring her well being.
