Death of P. F. Ryan after Locomotive Accident
Patrick F. Ryan longtime employee of United Pipes Line died after a freight engine struck him while he tried to save a dog on the track near Clarendon. He suffered a crushed head and mangled leg, never regained consciousness, and died Friday at 10 30 AM. He leaves a wife and two children and held a one third lease interest valued at 22000 and a half interest in two Cherry Grove wells. He was insured for 2000 by C M B A. Remains to be buried at the wife’s home in Cleveland Ohio.
