Rambling Town Opinion on Erie Gas Monopoly Battle

He urges competition, cites Jamestown and Findley precedents, and advocates forming a mutual or borough gas venture to save costs while warning against Standard Oil influence. The piece reports Board of Trade talks, cemetery statistics, a proposed Warren street railway, and calls for public action to protect industry and residents.
