Warren County Fair Association Holds Annual Meeting
The Warren County Fair Association met at the Court House Saturday at 2 PM with OC C Thompson presiding in place of president D H Siggins. Reports show a debt of 1300 with 48 in treasury and plans to clear indebtedness next year after improvements to grounds and buildings. Directors elected for the ensuing year include D Gardner FL Cogswell W J Alexander Warren W H Taylor Glade Ben Bailey G Z Starr Conewago L MM Hazeltise Glade Norman Porter Chandler's Valley and R S Hartley Freehold. Officers to be chosen at the March 10 meeting of the directors.

February Oil Report Shows Decline in Wells and Output
The Derrick reports February oil activity with 15 fewer wells than January and production down by 3 274 barrels. Eastern fields end of February hold 582 drilling wells and 180 rigs, while January end shows 269 drilling wells and 166 rigs. Monthly change adds 14 rigs and 13 wells drilling, net gain of 7 operations in January versus December, December up 6 from November, and November up 98 from October.
Senate Report Upholds Cleveland on Hawaiian Policy

On February 27, 1849, Warren Odd Fellows petitioned for a lodge charter and held 1849 1850 meetings at Carver House ball with 70 initiates. Notable members Hall Carver Morrison later held offices. a cemetery dedication followed in 1863 under Rebekah Lodge No 269. Burglaries in Glade and Russell stole clothes, cash, cider, and a dynamite blown safe at Mull’s store. notes and boots vanished amid broader loot.
