Oil activity heats up in Glade as Davis Brothers drill a second well on the Sweeting farm after an initial daily yield of about twenty barrels. Joseph MaGee fresh wells nearby show promise while Sager and Sill farms attract timbering and leasing, signaling a potential expanded field if oil is found.
Henry J. Sullivan, Esq., a Rochester attorney, is in Warren on business. Judge Scofield is home from Washington to spend the summer here. Miss Jennie Mair of Bradford is visiting Warren and making friends. Mr. J. K. Palmer has returned from Canada after a health trip. Mr. A. B. Newkirk of Cleveland stops in Warren with business interests in view.
