The text argues Congress may not repeal authorization for troops or marshals but can restrict funding, limiting use of appropriated money to army or marshals in justice duties and prohibiting payment of special deputy marshals for election services. It frames the issue as congressional control of appropriations, not state rights, stressing constitutional power to tax and designate public funds.

Grain yields and world supply in a single grain
A speculative calculation asserts that one wheat grain could, through successive doubling, produce an enormous global supply. If each grain yields fifty grains, and those yield further crops, the resulting total could theoretically supply ink earth for a lifetime, yielding astronomical figures such as 244,140,625,000,000,000,000,000,000. This prompts discussion on exponential growth and resource abundance.
