Story of the Mutiny at Sultanpore in Bengal
An American observer recounts the 1857 mutiny at Sultanpore Bengal where natives killed officers and besieged a small fort. With two companions they fortified a thicket fortress, repelled artillery, and killed mutineers during a five day siege before returning to Sultanpore.
