In Pittsburg fifteen glass workers form a cooperative. Pennsylvania Steel near Harrisburg restarts after Dec 24 shutdown with orders to last six months and about 300 workers. Noble & Hall Erie boiler works resumes ten hours daily after securing a large boiler contract for New York City water works worth at least 50 000 dollars. Erie City Water Works repairs and Anchor Line contracts also noted. Bradford mill order for a 60 horsepower engine cited. Overall outlook cited as improving with multiple resumptions and wage adjustments.
