The Warren Borough Burgess and Town Council pass a 1964 ordinance prohibiting hogs within the borough from January 1. Violators face a fine per hog per day. The Health Committee may grant permits to keep hogs under stated conditions and revoke them at any time.
The Burgess and Town Council of Warren adopt a ordinance requiring owners of lots on the north side of Fifth Street extension between Laurel and Beech to build a five foot wide sidewalk and to maintain it. The sidewalk must be completed by January next and repairs authorized by the council. The order is signed by Geo. P. Fork Burgess and B. P. Kine Clerk, Warren, December 13, 1833.

It urges all social classes to use it for liver and kidney health, skin conditions, female ailments, and general vitality, claiming extensive personal recoveries and protection against serious disease.

Also listed A W Merck Tus year leap year note and Ely cream balm testimonial from Col C H Mackey of Sigourney about catarrh relief after three months use.
A promotional note from Warren, Pa claims Gilmore's Aromatic Wine improves skin texture and complexion, stating no woman can use it with rough skin or a sallow tone. The ad touts a pearly white face and asserts quick relief from coughs or colds using Gilmore's Magnetic Bligi, priced at 8 cents and sold by A. W. Merck/Morok.
