A Christmas Miracle in Groton and a Widow’s Resolve
Marjorie Chadwick, renouncing love after a bereavement, rejects a rich proposal and tends church decorations at Christmas. A vision of her dead fiancé Herford Wayne spurs a confession with Mrs Wayne. The minister’s guidance sparks a miraculous reunion as Herford returns alive, love prevails, and Groton’s shutters open to celebrate a joyous wedding and a bright Christmas day.
