Warren County Temperance Convention Forms Local Union
Devotional exercises opened by Rev. Baumgardner and Cushman. Rev. Nesbit outlined aims of the convention as Warren county forms a temperance union auxiliary to the Pennsylvania temperance union. Resolutions urged prohibition amendments and unity among temperance groups. About 140 delegates elected for a county organization with presidents and secretaries named for townships. The meeting adjourned after a late afternoon session and a public address by Dr. Nesbit.
