Mrs Arva Bullock, about 35, hung herself in a Sugar Grove barn Friday morning after a demented spell. Found by her sister Mrs Edmunds, she was removed to a doctor but died from a broken neck. Widow of a husband, formerly Minnie Rickers, daughter of Lathrop Rickers of the Busti road. Funeral at 1 p m Sunday.

A Damnable Crime Haight Accused Of Assault
Charles Haight of Corry is accused of indecently assaulting ten year old Nora Freeman, daughter of Estella Freeman. Nora was sent to stay with Mrs Abbott at Blackville while her mother resided in Corry. A medical exam confirmed assault, Haight was arrested in Corry and brought to Jamestown for arraignment before Justice Yates. He waived examination and was sent to Mayville jail to await September grand jury.
