Relief Association Reports Six Months of Aid in Warnes Borough
The Relief Association held its semi annual meeting at Mrs. R P King s home with Mrs J M Davies reporting on six months of operations in Warnes Borough. With 987 articles received and 917 disbursed 45 families comprising 201 individuals were aided through a 22 district network. Cash and store orders totaled 278 87 and expenditures were 277 459 leaving a small balance and a minor deficit due to outstanding accounts. Donations came from 128 friends plus church and association collections.
