Indications point to a forthcoming German offensive on the Flanders front as British and French positions in the vital area endure heavy bombardment and drumfire duels in numerous sectors over the last twenty four hours.
French forces carried out a successful local raid in the Locre sector capturing prisoners. The report notes intensified German bombardment along the Flanders front from Locre to Ypres and renewed efforts to drive northward toward Ypres.
