New York, Feb 8 Six people three of them passengers were seriously injured today in a rear end collision between a wooden local train and a steel train on the Third Avenue Elevated line at 120th Street. The wooden train rammed into the empty steel coach which was not scheduled to stop. The leading car of the wooden train was wrecked and caught fire.
London February 8 The railway strike has been settled and officially announced today. The underground will resume operations.
