SPIES Mrs Stella Spies, 1803 4th Street, died Wednesday at the Columbus Manor after a year’s illness She was 74.Funeral rites are set for 10 a m Monday at St. Anthony Catholic Church with burial in St. Bona venture Cemetery Hev. laiurin Buzynski will officiate The body will lie in state at McKown Funeral Home after 1 pm Sunday with rosary at 7:30 p m Mrs Spies was bom Dec 29. 1902 at Genoa, daughter of the late Charles and Victoria (Zonal Wruble She married Blame Spies on Nov. 20, 1924 at Krakow, and they lived at Ewing and Genoa before moving to Columbus 22 years ago She was a member of St Anthony Church and former member of St Theresa Sodality Preceded in death by tier husband in November. 1968, she is survived by three children. Mrs. William (Victoria) Cfcapla and Walter Spies of Columbus, Mrs Marcel (Gertrude) Ctapla of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; 23 grandchildren; 12 greatgrandchildren thn* sisters, I Mrs Pete Moona* Spies of ( chapman.
