LOCAL HAPPENINGS.►Dr. F. T. Seeley laBt week received a letter from bis son Dr. Burton Seeley who is now statiqned at Houston, Texas. ! Dr. Seeley has a responsible commission at this place, having been placed in charge of the remount station there.It ia expected that fully 10,000 horses will be his charge. It will require about 50 blacksmiths and a dozen or so veterinaries, to say nothing of the other-1 laborers to take care of the animals, 3 n Tf m .
