First National Co Proposes Deep Development Plan at Silver Mines
A stockholders meeting in Spokane backed a plan to extend tunnels at First National Silver Mines east of Wardner. Two veins in No 2 tunnel show strong mineralization and possible enrichment at deeper junctions, with a 1470 foot tunnel expected to reach about 200 feet deeper. The company, well financed, prepares winter supplies and aims to complete the tunnel next spring to benefit Ble Creek properties in the Revett quartzite region.
