The American Commander Mining & Milling Company releases a pamphlet edition with a president J A Glowe report reviewing financing efforts a year end June 30 1923 and a mining engineer Chas O Merriam assessment details and a favorable vein showing at tunnel No 1 while Wallace Idaho finance actions prompt a 2.5 cent per share levy and 25 percent stock dividend to raise 50000 for development.

Oreano progress and finds at crosscut tunnels
Oreano reports crosscuts from the main tunnel advancing toward the footwall with ore inches thick. A short crosscut followed by a perth shoot yielded nine inches of ore after a prior 112 feet run. A second crosscut has passed the same ore shoot and exposes a TS inch thick seam. Safety pins found during Pompeii excavations are noted.
