Imperial vein located in drift west of cross cut
Imperial Mining Company secretary Homer Brown reports a vein discovery in a drift run west from the cross cut about 300 feet from the raise. After 500 feet of driving no vein identified, a stringer near an inch thick with crystallized lead was widened to four feet with crystals returning 26.7 percent lead and low silver. Belle of the West Mining Contract Awarded for 100 Feet
