Stratton Mines reports ore shipments cover development costs

In the Coeur d Alene district Stratton Mines notes ore shipments fund development. A 26 ton load netted 1197.56, approx 50 per ton, with a 40 ton car due later this month. Over 30 tons in the bin. a new stope above the east drift adds to output. First ore went to Faust Helen plant, second to Bunker Hill smelter. Company plans machine drills and a compressor. January 15 treasury 21735.04, total resources 26008.80.

Nabob to Begin Shipping and Milling February First

Nabob Consolidated Mining plans production on or about February first under I O Proctor. New equipment including a Hardinge mill and a zinc flotation unit has been installed, with a mineral separation machine awaiting installation. The mine has developed new ore and built handling facilities, while markets for lead and zinc look favorable under long term contracts with Anaconda Copper Mining.

Ajax stock turns fortune on a burnt loss tale

Ajax ORE Body Deepens Future for Great Ajax Mine

The Ajax crosscut extends to the vein 11 feet wide with high grade lenses for shipment. The strike lies about 1500 feet deep near the Woodward claim, likely eastern extension of the Hercules vein. Development spans 20 years with tunnels and drifts, showing a continuous ore shoot of 700 feet and 500 feet above the prior crosscut. Hecla mine to resume operation early next week

Montana Idaho Ore Discovery Reported Near Adair

A Montana Idaho company is reported to have struck ore near Adair in a crosscut close to the initial find. The discovery is described as a good grade copper ore and possibly a larger body than first found, with development plans and a forthcoming management announcement expected after a meeting.
