Macbeth Says Meeting of Miners Best Ever
Kavenal Macbeth of Mackay Idaho Mining Association secretary arrived last Tuesday and will stay in the west or Boise on mining business. He praises Boise’s Idaho Mining meeting as the most successful ever with open discussion. He condemns the 610 acre homestead law and urges legal steps to help prospectors. He favors classification of land and opposes entries in mineral land. He notes a plan to display the Panama Pacific mineral collection in the capitol and backs a two cent per pound tariff on imported lead. He endorses Senator Fall as Interior Secretary, calling him the best possible choice.
