Success Drifting on Promising Lead and Zinc Ore Shoot
The Success Mining company began drifting on a promising ore stringer in the main tunnel level. Starting with a few inches of lead-silver ore, the drift has progressed over 20 feet as ore widens to about 16 inches at the bottom. Zinc now outcrops lead, with stringers of both metals scattered across the drift face.

He met old friend A B Ward, who owns the land Scott seeks, and they arranged for Scott to join the work this season. Scott home in West Virginia. Ireland has Lough Neagh, largest lake in the British Isles, 153 square miles. About 75 to 80 percent of the flow would be blocked. The scheme’s success eases expected water handling in the Star crosscut.

Protection for Lead and Zinc Mining in Idaho Tariff Debate

Rich Crown Point gold deposits of 1880s saga told
Crown Point claims straddle Prichard and Trail creeks with 750 feet in each district. Outcrops on the ridge yielded free milling quartz rich in gold, drawing attention from Portland to Eagle City. Steele was killed after visiting the claim. Jenkins later installed a mill and tramway, but disputes led to shutdowns. Current owners include Linden Portland and Jenkins, with the mill moved from the Trail side.
