Vermilion compressor boosts mining development plan
W A Kittrell of Vermilion Mining Co. discussed road improvements with the board of county commissioners. A new saw mill and an up to date compressor will aid ore extraction. The company has spent about 450 000 on mining properties 14 miles from Vermilion near the Lincoln and Sanders county line. Political Snippets and Social Ironies of the Day
J P Litschert notes a suit against Joachim Hohenzollern for an 11 dollar laundry bill. Public sympathy divides in this case. A world league against alcoholism forms, with many joining to safeguard resolutions. Campaigns crackle with slogans like He keeps us out of peace. The old office seeking the man remains. Primaries amuse managers more than voters. Cigarette trends among ladies prompt worries about pipes. Billy Bryan likely leads the wrecking crew at the Democratic National Convention.
