A huge devil fish was trapped under a New York steamship wharf after a splash heard by workers. Fifteen men towed it ashore after firing shots and a harpoon was used. The creature measured about sixteen feet wide and fifteen feet long with four foot fins and a large tail, its mouth two feet wide with eight inches length. One of a kind sight near Fernandina.
