Commencement Week at Science School Ends With Alumni Banquet
Commencement week began with the Baccalaureate sermon by Rev Hutcheson, followed by class day in the Science School gymnasium featuring a poem, prophesy, and Alma Mater review. The class play Case of Suspension drew praise, corner stone ceremonies were postponed due to weather, and Friday's exercises included an address by Col M A Hildreth on duty. President Burch summarized the year, diplomas were awarded to 49 graduates, and Saturday night alumni banquet filled the Merchants dining room with toasts and dancing, closing with renewed school loyalty and plans for a record year.
