Wahpeton High School Class of 1906 Commencement Highlights
The Wahpeton High School graduation week culminated in a Friday evening ceremony at the Opera House with 14 graduates, the largest class save one, honored for their scholarship and conduct. Speeches covered education, reform, and the school as a republic, with musical performances, a class prophecy and a conclusion song. An alumni banquet followed, celebrating the class of 1906 and bidding farewell to a student heading to Wisconsin.

A consumer alert lists baking powders containing alum based on Food Commission and U S Department reports. Standy feud letter targets K O Standy in public dispute
A heated letter from Ote Lovpoxs accuses K O Standy of lies and violence over school contracts and a break in at a schoolhouse. The writer claims Standy used intimidation with a shotgun to pressure patrons and disrupt teacher appointment, calling Standy a civil disorder and vowing to prove claims with public records. Ed. notes both Standy and Lovdokken had hearings in Times columns, and the paper will publish further grievances.
